Jasper & Myrtle are a small chocolate maker based in Canberra. Co-owners Li Peng and Peter named their business from Australian origins that reflect their own (Jasper is a semi-precious stone found in WA where Li Peng spent many years, while Myrtle is a common plant in NSW where Peter is from) and they incorporate many Australian flavours in their award-winning chocolate. All their cacao beans come from Bougainville in PNG, and are fair-trade (in fact, Li Peng and Peter make regular visitors to PNG to meet with the farmers that produce their cacao).
