Ulu Hye was formed by two innovative women with a passion for cutting waste from their lives. They took a simple concept – the nut milk – and recognised that if it’s mostly water, why are we buying big bulky cartons of the stuff (most of which end up in landfill) when we could instead buy a concentrate and make it ourselves? And so the mylk base was born. This 300g jar of nut paste (a blend of cashews, almonds and macadamias) will make an astonishing 10l of milk! Make up as little or as much as you need; just scoop into a blender, add water and blitz. Once opened, the jar will last 3 months, and the made up milk will keep for 3-4 days in the fridge.
