Description
This organic agave syrup from Eco Organics is a vegan alternative to honey. It is extracted from the agave plant, a cactus native to the southern states of the US, Latin America and South America. It is believed the Mexicans have been using the plant for hundreds, possibly thousands of years, and its primarily used today in the production of tequila. Use as a low G.I., vegan substitute for honey, but note it is naturally sweeter than honey so you won’t need much!
