Description
Psyllium husk is made from the outer husks of the plantago ovata plant’s seeds. It’s a prebiotic that is probably best known for getting things moving (if you catch my drift), but there is also research showing it can also be beneficial to the heart and pancreas. Sprinkle a tablespoon on your morning cereal, add to smoothies or just add to water or juice. Remember also to drink plenty of water when taking psyllium!
